'Magazine Dreams' Starring Jonathan Majors to Premiere in 2025 Following Settlement

"Magazine Dreams," starring Jonathan Majors, will now be released in theaters on March 21, 2025, according to Briarcliff Entertainment. The movie, which follows the journey of Majors' character, Killian Maddox, an amateur bodybuilder, had its first showing at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival but was delayed because of the actor's legal issues.
Majors portrays Maddox, who, in spite of medical advice against using steroids, battles mental and physical health problems in his quest to become a bodybuilding champion. Majors had to undergo rigorous physical training and a specialized diet to perform the demanding duty, which required major transformation.
When Searchlight Pictures pulled out after Majors was found guilty of a misdemeanor involving an incident with his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari, "Magazine Dreams" had distribution issues. However, the film's rights returned to its creators after the legal issues were resolved and Jabbari dismissed her claim with prejudice.
Haley Bennett, Taylour Paige, and more actors round out the film's impressive ensemble cast. Amidst a turbulent year, Majors achieved a personal high when he announced his engagement to actress Meagan Good.
